Mass Effect 2 has been nominated for a BAFTA Award in the category of Best Original Music. Composers Jack Wall, Sam Hulick, David Kates and Jimmy Hinson pitched together to craft the musical score follow-up to the blockbuster hit Mass Effect. Wall and Hulick originally teamed up in 2007 to create one of the most memorable and creative video game scores, harking back to the analog, multi-textural sounds of Vangelis and Tangerine Dream, and blending in modern orchestral elements. The soundtracks for Mass Effect 1 and 2 have both received critical acclaim throughout the game industry and beyond.
