CAEAA (Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts) has announced the final nominees for the 2nd Annual Elan Awards. Mass Effect shares the list with other strong contenders up for Best Original Score. The award ceremony will take place on February 15th, and will be hosted by Seth McFarlane (Family Guy, American Dad).

Spike TV has announced that Mass Effect has been nominated for Best Original Score for its 2007 Video Game Awards! The game is also up for Game of the Year, Best RPG, Best Graphics, and Best Xbox 360 Game. The Spike TV Video Game Awards airs December 9th at 9PM ET/PT.

Sam has finished work on BioWare’s critically acclaimed Mass Effect, having contributed over 30 minutes of original music to the project, including nearly 10 minutes of cinematic scoring.
